As the first instrumental track by Sebastian to serve as closer of his debut album, the track includes heavy use of jazz influence, especially swing and possibly ragtime. The track had several evolution phases with two previous titles: "The Laugh Band" and "Oh, Sebastian" until the use of lyrics was eventually scrapped. This also included the first use of the organ in Sebastian's discography.
